Box Score The Knight Hawks defeated the San Diego Strike Force on Friday night at Lee's Family Forum in the Western Conference Championship. Vegas will play in the IFL National Championship in Tucson, AZ on August 23.

Ben Derby's leg put the first points on the board with a field goal to put Vegas up 3-0, three minutes into the contest.
San Diego answered on their next drive, converting on a fourth and goal for a touchdown. The Strike force took an early 7-3 lead eight minutes into the first.
Both teams then traded touchdown drives raising the score to 21-17 for San Diego at the end of the first. Quentin Randolph caught both Knight Hawk touchdowns.
CJ Windham Jr. kept the scoring going by getting the first points of the second quarter, giving Vegas a 24-21 lead.
San Diego responded after a long drive down field to retake the lead 28-24 with six minutes left in the half.
Randolph continued to have a spectacular night, catching his third touchdown of the half, putting Vegas back on top, 31-28.
The lead was short-lived as San Diego reclaimed the lead on the very next play, 35-31 with 90 seconds left in the half.
Right after the one-minute warning, CJ Jefferson caught his first score of the night, putting the Knight Hawks back out in front 38-35.
Following a fumble recovery by Chizzi Umunakwe, De Laura ran in his fifth score of the half, giving Vegas a 45-35 lead going into the break.
Following a fumble by De Laura, San Diego scored nine straight points off of a safety and a touchdown. They retook the lead 51-45 with five minutes left in the third quarter.
San Diego came out of the half and immediately cut into the Vegas lead, 45-42.
Vegas stopped the bleeding when Quentin Randolph scored his fourth touchdown of the game, this time a rushing score. This gave Vegas a 52-51 lead with two minutes left in the third.
Kicker Ben Derby added two more points on a deuce on the subsequent kickoff, bumping the lead to 54-51.
With less than one minute to go, Randolph scored his fifth TD of the game, giving Vegas a late 61-58 lead.
Seconds later, the Strike Force scored to retake a 65-61 lead.
Randolph kept his legendary night going by scoring his sixth touchdown and retaking a 68-65 lead.
With no time remaining, San Diego scored a field goal to send the game to overtime.
On the opening possession of overtime, the Vegas defense forced a turnover on downs. Moments later Ja'Rome Johnson dove in the endzone from the one-yard line to win the game.

The Knight Hawks await the winner of Green Bay-Quad City on Saturday night to see who they will play in the IFL National Championship. The IFL National Championship will be played at Tucson Arena on Saturday, August 23.
