KNIGHT HAWKS SINK THE SHARKS, 54-43
The Knight Hawks defeated the Jacksonville Sharks, 54-43, on Sunday afternoon at Lee’s Family Forum.

NOTES
Beginning halfway through the first quarter, both teams began trading touchdown drives: a rushing score by Josh Tomas and a receiving TD from Senika McKie along with two Jacksonville passing touchdowns saw the Sharks lead at the end of the first, 14-13.
It wasn’t until the five-minute mark of the second that another touchdown would be tallied; Tomas would score his second rushing TD to give Vegas a 20-14 advantage. On Jacksonville’s next drive, James Cahoon would throw a pick-six to defensive back Irshaad Davis, raising the Vegas lead to 27-14 going into the half.
Vegas capped off their opening drive of the second half with Tomas scoring his third TD of the game, giving Vegas a commanding 33-14 lead. The Sharks would score their first points since the end of the first, cutting into the Vegas lead, 33-21.
On the first play of the fourth quarter, De Laura scored a tush-push touchdown to extend the Vegas lead to 40-21. The teams would then trade scoring drives, with Jacksonville’s touchdowns sandwiching a Quentin Randolph receiving TD. After all of the action, the score would rise to 47-35 Vegas. The game would end with two more touchdowns from each team, including a John Erby leaping score to make the final score 54-43.
